About
The purpose of Waterloo Banking Project is to research, plan, and develop student-run financial services in the form of a credit union that would:
- Offer financial services that better meet students’ needs;
- Provide amazing work experience for student staff;
- and run educational programs to increase financial literacy and money management skills among students.
The project has these three main phases:
- Research and Feasibility
- Business Plan
- Policy development
The project is currently in the research phase.
