In July, I had the opportunity to meet with the summer staff at the Georgetown student credit union and learn more about their operations in person.

At GUASFCU, Georgetown University Alumni & Student Federal Credit Union, in Washington D.C. students operate an independently chartered credit union

During the school year, the credit union operates with a staff of about 120. During the summer four department heads operate the office with reduced hours. I met with three of those staff, Katie, Justin, and Michael.
